When “The Boss” Is Still The Boss…
I watched him perform on the SB halftime show.
I know you all did too, I don’t even have to say his name.
Is he successful? You bet!
I watched him perform with new eyes this year.
Last year this time, I wasn’t a member of the Million Mind March.
He still looks and sounds great, and what a performer!
But there are some success reminders we can learn from him…
1. Staying Power: I remember hearing him when I was a little girl 20+ years ago…and they are asking him to perform at the biggest event in the world. He still tours. He is not going anywhere.
(Schroederism: Caesar knew he was Caesar before he was Caesar.)
2. Doing what he loves: You can tell when you watch him perform that he absolutely loves playing music. His love is infectious, you can feel he likes making you feel good, and that is why people love watching him.
(Schroederism: When people catch you loving people, they will love you back.)
3. A crowd follows him wherever he goes…it’s called his band and groupees. They wouldn’t hang with him unless they were absolutely sure he knew where he was going, and could help them get there too.
(Schroederism: A goal is only a dream unless 2-3 people agree with you.)
4. Ability to motivate: When you are surrounded by 70,000+ screaming fans, you have to have enough energy for EVERYONE. He has it in spades.
Did you see the guitar swing? That was waaaay cool!
(Schroederism: You don’t gotta get it right, you just gotta get it going.)
Is Bruce still the boss?
You tell me.
