If You Tell The Truth, Why Are You Lying To Yourself?

March 16, 2009 at 6:25 am (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , , )

My husband said this to me today regarding someone else…and it
really started me thinking.

He said, so many people say that they are honest people.

However, if they are not telling themselves the TRUTH, how can they
be honest?

If you say someone else is to blame for not getting that promotion
at work…are you telling yourself the truth?

Here is TRUTH…

We are all given the same type of MIND to work with. We are all born
with the same abilities, but some abilities may be more prominent than
others.

We all make CHOICES as to what we are.

Our DECISIONS determine what our personal truths are.

What we THINK determines who we are or will be.

So here’s the deal…

If you realize that you are LYING to yourself, how will you respond?

Remember…

How you respond also determines WHO YOU ARE or WHO YOU WILL BE.

And here is another to bend your brain around…

What about your FAITH?

It’s great to have faith, but if your faith is based upon incorrect thinking,
is it true faith?

Have you built your faith on the truth or the lie?

When you look in the mirror, do you see the lie…

Or the truth?

What you see determines what you will be,

What you will be determines what you will see.

So…are you lying to yourself?

If so, what are you going to do about it?

Here’s the great part.

YOU get to decide.

YOU have the choice.

YOU make the change.

It’s all up to YOU.

Is There Something Missing?

February 7, 2009 at 12:23 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , , , )

So Joe Schroeder opened the Million Mind March up to the public about three weeks ago.

I am just amazed at how many people are flocking in.

The people that are coming are from everywhere…corporate America, the unemployed, middle class, the successful and unsuccessful network marketers.

They are also coming from all over the world…Israel, South Africa, Australia, South America.

Why are they coming?

Every single one has said, I feel there is something missing, and I know there is more out there.

Many of us don’t listen to that little voice inside us when it says things like that.  We ignore it..therefore, we remain in our circumstances, even if we don’t like it.

Schroederism:  You can’t complain about that which you permit!

That little voice is your subconscious telling you that you need to BE more.  Notice I did not say, you need to DO more.

When you are the right kind of person, the right kind of people will show up to help you.

When these people come to The Million Mind March, they realize that the RIGHT people have just showed up.

Guess what else happens?  The WRONG people…go away.

What are you left with?

A community of real people, no hype, only TRUTH- dedicated to helping others succeed.

Most people permit because they can’t handle the truth.

They think it’s easier to let someone else do the work for them.

The hardest thing you will ever do is change yourself.

But when you do that, success is…deceptively simple.

And we are all here…waiting to help you, build you up.

You ARE ten feet tall and bulletproof, you just don’t realize it yet.

We do.

“My prosperity prospers 10,000 people, their prosperity prospers me.”

When “The Boss” Is Still The Boss…

February 2, 2009 at 4:03 am (mindset marketing) (, , , , , )

I watched him perform on the SB halftime show.

I know you all did too, I don’t even have to say his name.

Is he successful? You bet!

I watched him perform with new eyes this year.

Last year this time, I wasn’t a member of the Million Mind March.

He still looks and sounds great, and what a performer!

But there are some success reminders we can learn from him…

1. Staying Power: I remember hearing him when I was a little girl 20+ years ago…and they are asking him to perform at the biggest event in the world. He still tours. He is not going anywhere.

(Schroederism: Caesar knew he was Caesar before he was Caesar.)

2. Doing what he loves: You can tell when you watch him perform that he absolutely loves playing music. His love is infectious, you can feel he likes making you feel good, and that is why people love watching him.

(Schroederism: When people catch you loving people, they will love you back.)

3. A crowd follows him wherever he goes…it’s called his band and groupees. They wouldn’t hang with him unless they were absolutely sure he knew where he was going, and could help them get there too.

(Schroederism: A goal is only a dream unless 2-3 people agree with you.)

4. Ability to motivate: When you are surrounded by 70,000+ screaming fans, you have to have enough energy for EVERYONE. He has it in spades.

Did you see the guitar swing? That was waaaay cool!

(Schroederism: You don’t gotta get it right, you just gotta get it going.)

Is Bruce still the boss?

You tell me.

More nuggets of wisdom from a fellow warrior.

Use them wisely!

Love Your Enemy, Use His Energy

January 25, 2009 at 12:24 pm (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , , , , , , )

Society has taught us when someone doesn’t like us, we should ignore them, not like them back, etc.

This is a foolish thing to do and it limits our success.

Why?

Just because we don’t like someone, or they do not like us, does not mean that they were not created with a purpose.

The problem with people is their egos are so big that they think they control who comes into and out of their life.

I believe everything happens for a reason, and I believe everyone I meet crosses my path for a reason, and every reason is ultimately always good.

Who am I to choke the flow of good into my life by saying someone is not worthy of being there? That would be selfish, and self-defeating.

I was on a Ladies Huddle call yesterday, and Queen Lenai Stewart presided.

She read a section from a new book by Joe Schroeder called “Day Job Bail Out”.

In this section, he talked about Bruce Lee.  The reason Bruce was so successful at doing things no one else had ever done was because he used the energy of others.

He knew he may not have had enough energy on his own to defeat them, so he used their energy and added it to his own.

Ben Franklin did the same thing.  He used the flow of someone who didn’t like him, and eventually they became friends and business partners.  Ben became more successful because he could then use the influence of this person and add it to his own.

How did he do this?

He observed that there was a book this other person read all the time, and he asked to borrow it.

He then not only knew what influenced that person, but also what influenced his creative ability.

He was then able to use that influence, gain that person’s trust, and eventually make his own influence larger because of that person.

Put simply, you have to love people, but you don’t have to like them.

But, be nice to them, and find out what makes them tick.

You never know what kind of impact they may have on your life.

That is one of those secret codes of successful people that you were never told.

It is a golden nugget.

Use it wisely!

Welcome To The Hotel California…

January 22, 2009 at 3:41 am (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , )

So it’s another day…and for many, yesterday was a new beginning.

Things happened that can’t ever be changed.

The first African-American president was inaugurated yesterday.

Many had the ability to see something that they never thought they would
see in their lifetime.

The world, as we know it, will never be the same.

Did you make your new beginning yet?

Have you inaugurated yourself, and voted yourself in?

If not, what are you waiting for?

The world to change?

The only thing you have control of

The only thing you can really change

Is yourself.

The Million Mind March opened it’s doors to the public yesterday.

As I was watching people come in, it reminded me of the Eagles song.

“You can check out anytime you like,

But you can never leave…”

Why?

When you build yourself

Grow to your fullest potential

Then go beyond,

At that point

The only thing you can’t leave

Is yourself.

Make 2009 your year!

Action Plan For 2009

January 7, 2009 at 12:14 pm (Uncategorized) (, , , , , , , )

So, we have officially closed the book on 2008.

How do we make a better 2009?

How do we keep from making the same mistakes we made last year?

Here is a 5 step action plan to make 2009 a success.

1.  Fight for what you allow yourself to think.

Most people don’t have a money problem, they have a thought problem.  The hardest thing you will ever do is hold something in thought for a long period of time without seeing it manifested in physical terms.

2.  Declare War on worry.

Get rid of your lack of focus, distraction, strife, and struggle.

3.  Make the new opportunity each other.

This year, do what the rich have known how to do for years.  Instead of giving your money to people, trade it with others who can give you something in return, like wisdom and support.

What do you think will sell this year–greed, or wisdom?

4.  Love people, and use money, not the other way around.

When you love something that doesn’t have eyes and doesn’t have the ability to love you back, you lose.

When people catch you loving other people, they will, in turn, love you back.

5.  Discipline yourself not to be offended–you are too graceful for revenge.

Do yourself a favor and bless those around you who have done something to you, or sold you out.  When you do that, your life will immediately change.

The people who succeed this year are those that realize that they have the power, not corporations.

Instead of bailing out companies, this time, let’s bail out each other.

Let’s demonstrate that mind, instead of money, is the new bail out.

Let’s leave a legacy that will be remembered–and you along with it.

Speak increase into others, and, in turn, increase will find you.

This is our time to shine!

A New Beginning

January 1, 2009 at 6:20 pm (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , , )

So, it’s now January 1, 2009.

A time for new starts, new ideas, new concepts.

What are you going to change this year?

Here is a better question:  Do you know HOW to change it?

I was recently on a couple of  Diane Hochman’s calls.

The last two she talked about wisdom and closing books.

The definition of Wisdom from Wikipedia is: Wisdom is knowledge, understanding, experience, discretion, and intuitive understanding,  along with a capacity to apply these qualities well towards finding solutions to problems.

So, in order to gain wisdom, you have to have knowledge and understanding.

You have to learn in order to do that.

Experience leads to discretion, which leads to intuitive understanding.

Intuition is that feeling you get when you know it’s right, but you can’t explain it.

Again, you cannot experience this unless you learn.

Then you apply them well to find solutions to problems.

She also talked about how companies close their books at the end of their fiscal year.

Before you begin 2009, make sure you reflect on 2008, determine what it is you will do–and then close the book on it forever.

Don’t keep rehashing it.  It is time for a new beginning.

Wrap up your journal, have a little private ceremony, and throw away your insecurities, your fears, and your doubts.

Forgive yourself if you didn’t have the year you thought you should.

To change your 2009, there is only one thing you have to change. You.

Never forget that you have the power to change your environment by changing the way you respond to it.

One of Joe Schroeder’s favorite sayings is,”You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.”

Don’t wait to make everything perfect.  It will never be.

But as long as you make the effort, everything else will start to fall into place.

Make 2009 the year that you find out who you will become.

For some extra reading material, grab a copy of “Just Who Will You Be?” by Maria Shriver.

And remember, I am here, willing to help you get on the right track.

2009 will be our year!

Why This Is Special

December 9, 2008 at 12:28 pm (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , )

I spent the past weekend at Wisdom School in New Jersey listening to the greatest network marketer that ever lived-Joe Schroeder.

I can’t explain how much I got from sitting at his feet for 2 days.

This was definitely not your run-of-the-mill MLM meeting.

I could tell you how much I learned and how excited I am, because that is all true.

I think what really hit home was how different and special this organization, Million Mind March, is.

You realize it’s something special when you meet someone you have never physically met before (Diane Hochman) and she treats you like you have known her all your life.

You realize it’s special when you see that everyone around you is just like you-normal people with the same problems that you have, like trying to feed your family.

You realize it’s special when Kristen Darkenwald shares something so personal with you, that it inspires you.

You realize it’s special when the leader, Joe Schroeder, walks around the room in jeans and cowboy boots, looks you in the eye, and you can see he really cares about helping you succeed.

You realize it’s special when you get real information about how to build a business, instead of the normal “make $10K in 30 days” crap.

You realize it’s special when you see leaders literally rise up in front of your eyes (Jimmy Coley and Heather Coley), and you just witnessed the birth of greatness.

You realize it’s special when you make friends that you know you can always depend on, and are only there to help you succeed.

Thank you Joann Donahue, Debra Morrison, Lenai Stewart, Tee (Tineshia Toole)!!

I have been searching for the key, trying to crack the code, of how to be successful in this business I have chosen.

I found it.

Because I know that if I concentrate on disciplining myself, put into practice the business model I learned this weekend, and stick with this organization, there is no way that I can’t succeed.

If you are like me, and you are still searching, let me know.

I want to help.

There is no competition here.

There is only the desire to help others prosper.

My prosperity prospers others, their prosperity prospers me.

Be Your Authentic Self

December 1, 2008 at 4:15 am (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , , , , )

What does that mean?

Aren’t we ourselves every day?

Being your authentic self means being who you are-not what everyone around you expects you to be.

Look, we normally don’t let other people tell us what to do.

Why should we let others tell us who we are going to be?

That is why we are called human beings. Not human doings.

All successful people have had someone around them tell them they couldn’t do it.

The only difference between those who are successful and those who are not is that they did not listen to what went on around them.

They listened to themselves and what they wanted to do.

They ignored the voices of those around them who could not see what they could.

They kept the vision they had for themselves in front of them. And because they could see it, they could do it.

This is not something that happens overnight. It takes a while to figure it out.

This is also not something you can do once and not do again. It is a continuous process to be yourself. It is not for the lazy, the weak, or the fainthearted.

But when you can do it, it’s more than worth it.

When you try to fit in with what others are doing, you are limited to their vision.

When you are not afraid to be yourself, your only limit is YOU.

Then, the world becomes your playground.

Are You a Feather Or A Rock?

November 29, 2008 at 1:17 pm (mindset marketing) (, , , , , , )

Joe Schroeder asked this question on a private Million Mind March call last night.

So I contemplated the question for a while.

A feather is blown about by the wind, it is the victim of its surroundings, and it has no control over what it does.

When we give up, isn’t that what we become?

Are we the type of person who allows our environment to shape us, or do we shape our environment?

We are living creatures-we have an advantage over inanimate objects. We are even over the animals.

Even an animal can change its surroundings, but it doesn’t know why. It’s called instinct.

We are the only creatures on earth that have the ability to consciously change the situation we are in.

So why do we settle? Why don’t we change more often?

Because it’s easier to be a feather than a rock.

It doesn’t take any effort at all to let things control you.

Why do you think there are so many get-rich-quick and diet-without-exercising commercials?

However, it takes strength to not allow your surroundings to control you.

It takes almost superhuman strength to change our surroundings.

The rock remains where it is…and things grow around it, and shape themselves to it.

When the rock is moved, it makes an imprint on wherever it lands, even if only for a moment.

If you show you are not going anywhere, your environment will do the same.

The next time you wonder if it’s worth it, ask yourself that question.

Are you a feather…or a rock?

The only person that can answer that…is YOU.
